 A Youth for Peace Event is on the schedule for Friday, with ministers expected to discuss the role of young people as agents of peace and development in their communities to prevent conflict and violent extremism.On Friday, a high-level meeting on the Democratic Republic of the Congo will take place. The ministerial-level meeting will provide an important opportunity to take stock of preparations to date and identify continuing challenges in the implementation of the 31 December 2016 political agreement in that country.
