في ظل الأوضاع الإقليمية المتأزمة في الشرق الأوسط وبعد الأحداث الأمنية فيها، ترى اللجنة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان أن التدخلات الأميركية الواضحة والمعلنة والدعوات للنزول إلى الشارع من قبل سفيرة أميركا في مجلس الأمن تحت مسمى الإعتراض على الواقع المعيشي، هو أمر مناف للدبلوماسية وخرق لمعاهدة فيينا ٦١/٦٣ التي ترعى الشؤون والقضايا بين الدول المنتسبة للأمم المتحدة والتي وقعت على المعاهدة.
وفي حديث لوكالة الأنباء الدولية لحقوق الإنسان وحول رؤيته للأوضاع بشكل عام أشار مفوض الشرق الأوسط للجنة الدولية ومستشارها لشؤون الامم المتحدة في جنيف السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد أن الوضع العام في سوريا برغم بعض الانفراجات الأمنية على عدد كبير من المحافظات، أدخلت الولايات المتحدة الأميركية ذراعها مجدداً من خلال الحصار التي تحاول فرضه بشكل قوي تقف وراء المشكلة الإقتصادية في سوريا والنقص في مادة النفظ والغاز ومواد أساسية والتلاعب بالعملة.
وأشار أن خروج بعض المتظاهرين في السويداء ضمن مطالب محقة لهم لا يعطي ذريعة لتلك التدخلات التي تؤجج الوضع السياسي والأمني دون أن تقدم الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية أي حلّ للشعب السوري سوى الفوضى والدعوة للإنقضاض على الأمن المجتمعي، محدثة بذلك فوضى تحت غطاء الحقوق والموجبات وهذا ما يجب أن لا يسمح به المجتمع الدولي.
وفي سياق متصل أشار السفير ابو سعيد وجوب قيام الأجهزة الرقابية والوزارات المعنية في الجمهورية العربية السورية تحفيز مطالب الناس كما أشار الرئيس السوري في خطاباته الأخيرة والتي تدعو إلى وجوب تأمين الحاجات الأساسية لهم، وحث المسؤولين مقاربة المعطيات على كافة مندرجاتها بجدية أكثر للحفاظ على وحدة الجغرافيا والاستمرار في محاربة الفساد ومكافحة الارهاب الذي يأخذ اليوم وجه إقتصادي من أجل تدمير سوريا.
