علق المبعوث الخاص للجنة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان والمجلس الدولي إلى جنيف السفير هيثم ابو سعيد على المعطيات الأخيرة خصوصا الزيارة الخاصة التي قام بها وفد امني سعودي إلى دمشق برئاسة رئيس جهاز الاستخبارات السعودية الفريق خالد الحميدان من أجل التنسيق معها في قضايا مرتبطة بعناوين مختلفة خصوصا الأمن المجتمعي العربي والإسلامي.
وأبدى السفير ابو سعيد إرتياحه لكل الجهود المبذولة لعودة سوريا إلى الجامعة العربية والتي يمكن ترتيب من خلالها كل القضايا العالقة وخلق حلول قد تعود بالايجابية على شرائح المجتمع وحفظ حقوق الناس.
واكد ابو سعيد التمسك الإيجابي لتلك المساعي مع وجوب دعمها للوصول إلى استقرار ولو بالحد الأدنى في الشرق الأوسط ودحض المجموعات التكفيرية التي عبثت فساداً في المجتمعات وخلقت إيديولوجيا لا علاقة للمفاهيم السائدة بها في النهج الحياتي العربي والإسلامي معاً.وشكر أبو سعيد كل الدول العربية التي تعمل على سحب فتيل الانقسام وعلى رأسهم جمهورية مصر العربية والرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي.

Ambassador Abu Said expressed his satisfaction with all the efforts made to return Syria to the Arab League, through which all outstanding issues can be arranged and solutions that may be positive for the segments of society and the preservation of people's rights.
Abu Saeed affirmed the positive adherence to these endeavors with the necessity of supporting them to reach stability, even at a minimum, in the Middle East and refute the takfiri groups that have messed with corruption in societies and created an ideology that has nothing to do with the concepts prevailing in it in the Arab and Islamic way of life together.
Abu Said thanked all the Arab countries that are working to withdraw the fuse of division, led by the Arab Republic of Egypt and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
