رأى السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد (الممثل الرئيسي لبعثة المجلس الدولي لحقوق الإنسان إلى الأمم المتحدة في جنيف) لوكالة الأنباء الدولية لحقوق الإنسان في جنيف أن منطقة الشرق الأوسط قد تشهد سخونة غير متوقعة نتيجة أحداث غزة الاخيرة التي بدأت في ٧ أكتوبر ودخلت يومها ١٨٢، من دون أن يستأذن أطراف النزاع أو يؤخذ برأيهم عن وجوب إطلاق الأحداث، وانما يُراد زجهم بالقوة لأخذ موقف مؤيد من هنا او من هناك تحت شعارات عرقية مذهبية أو ما شابه.
وأضاف أن ما يحصل في الاردن هو تدخل فاضح من قبل حماس ومسؤوليها من خلال خطاباتهم التي باتت أعلا من أحداث غزة، وحتى دعوات حماس من لبنان في الإطار نفسه، وهذا أمر خطير جداً وغير مقبول على الاطلاق، ونرى فيها أجندات مخفية ذات امتدادات مريبة.
وختم الدكتور ابو سعيد أن على كافة الحكومات تحمّل المسؤولية الأخلاقية والمعنوية من أجل وضع حدّ لهذه التدخلات والتركيز على أحداث غزة ودعم السلطة الفلسطينية لتتمكن من العمل على القضايا الحقوقية مع محكمة الجنائية الدولية، سيما أن النزاع الذي يحصل اليوم في الداخل الفلسطيني لن يكون له صدى إيجابي في استغلال الانقسامات الاسرائيلية لمحاسبتهم على الجرائم المرتكبة، كما سيكون مسار السلم العالمي الذي أشار إليه الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة السيد انطونيو غوتيرش في خطر كبير...
