The Middle East Commissioner for the International Commission on Human Rights, Ambassador Haitham Abu Said, confirming to the High Commissioner for the Human Rights Council, Ms Michel Bachelet and stressing some of the gaps presented by the Commission of Inquiry to Syria during the 39th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, To show that the paper presented a new precedent in the adoption of monogamy criteria clearly in the Commission's investigations and confused the political position based on an assessment of the views of some countries and professional work art.
Ambassador Abu Said said that there is misinformation that is fraught with false figures, accusations and rulings that originally did not visit the sites referred to. Therefore, it is not permissible to confirm the matter as long as the Commission did not conduct a field investigation at sites that were then subject to the authority of the armed Takfiri groups With agendas for some regional and international countries.
Ambassador Abu Said said in his letter to Commissioner Bachelet that the report deliberately omitted crimes and violations of the international laws carried out by the Turkish forces in the north of Syria in addition to flagrant violations carried out by the US-led coalition forces with its allies in north-east Syria, A flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations. Ambassador Abu Said said that the prolonged shelling of the city of Damascus, indiscriminately populated by civilians, was the result of the practice of these Takfiri groups, which made the negotiations that were in force to protect the civilians a deliberate failure to keep the situation tense, all efforts to vanish. Ambassador Abu Said also confirmed that there are accurate reports on the possession of forces opposed to weapons and chemical weapons production facilities in the eastern suburbs of Damascus. They were sent to former High Commissioner Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad and to the Secretary-General of the United Nations three days before the meeting that was assigned to the Security Council on Syria on March 18, 2018.

Ambassador Abu Said concluded by asking the High Commissioner to re-expand the investigations and send a special envoy from her office to look at all the questions of question marks, especially that the plan for the return of the Syrian refugees from Lebanon to Syria has started at a simple pace, but the launching process started with the efforts of the President of the Lebanese Republic General Michel Aoun and the implementation of Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and legal support from the Lebanese Minister of Justice, Judge Salim Jraysati, and field activation of the Director General of the Lebanese General Security, General Abbas Ibrahim
