عقد عبر تقنية الزووم اجتماع ضم السفير هيثم ابو سعيد والاعلامية خديجة ، حيث جرى بحث آخر التطورات السياسية والاعلامية ، وتطرق النقاش الى واقع الاعلام في الدول العربية، وتم خلال الاجتماع وضع برنامج ورشة عمل تحت عنوان "دور الاعلام في حقوق الإنسان".
وقال سعادة السفير ابو سعيد ان الإعلام يخضع الى ضغوط كبيرة و معقدة نتيجة ممارسة السلطات السياسية في الاعلام وتدخلها في اطار الحد من حريته، واضاف السفير ابو سعيد ان هناك محاولات للتأثير في وسائل الإعلام ، واشار الى ان بعض الاعلام ينقل الصورة بطريقة تناسب توجهاته السياسية، والجهات التي تقوم بتمويله ، وانه لابد من وضع النقاط على الحروف في هذا المجال من اجل الحد من هذا التدهور الاعلامي .
واكد سعادة السفير ابو سعيد التزامه الدائم وسعيه للتطوير في اطار حقوق الانسان، مشددا على ضرورة الثقافة الاعلامية.من جهتها طالبت الاعلامية خديجة البزال بإنشاء مركز للتدريب للحد من الادمان على الممنوعات، وطالبت الاعلامية البزال بتجهيز مركز للتأهيل و المعالجة من الادمان.
وسألت الزميلة البزال لماذا محافظة بعلبك الهرمل مهملة ، ومستبعدة من جميع برامج الدعم والمشاريع التي تقوم بها المنظمات الدولية الحكومية وغير الحكومية؟ولدى سؤال الزميلة البزال لسعادة السفير ابو سعيد عن المدارس التي أنشأتها الامم المتحدة في لبنان للاجئين السوريين وانه هل يكفي ان يتعلم الاطفال دون الامهات اليس من المفترض ان يكون هناك دورات محو أمية للامهات اللواتي لم يدخلن المدرسة... اجاب السفير ابو سعيد بالتأكيد هناك فريق عمل يسعى لاتمام هذا النشاط ..
واعرب عن دعمه الثابت باتجاه حل سياسي ينهي الأزمة السورية على أساس قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2254 ويحترم وحدة سوريا وسلامة أراضيها.
