زار مفوّض الشرق الأوسط للّجنة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد على رأس وفد من اللجنة (ضَمّ كل من رئيس الهيئة الاستشارية القانونية المحامي الدكتور رياض الحركة والمستشار للشؤون الاستراتيجية العميد الركن (م) حسن بشروش وعضو التنفيذي للهيئة الاستشارية أديب أسعد ومسؤول المكتب الإعلامي علي أحمد والمحامي نوار الحركة) وزير العدل اللبناني القاضي ألبير سرحان بحضور رئيس مجلس القضاء الأعلى والرئيس الاول لمحكمة التمييز القاضي جان فهد.
بداية هنأ السفير أبو سعيد الوزير سرحان بتعيينه وزيرا للعدل وما له من صفات وسمعة حميدة سبقته الى الوزارة، وتناول النقاش مواضيع ذات صلة، بالإضافة إلى شجون محلية ودولية. وأشار المجتمعون إلى وجوب تفعيل وتنشيط الآليات وتسريع وتيرة العمل من أجل مواكبة كل الإستحقاقات المطلوبة التي تداهم الدول المحيطة، ولإبقاء لبنان من ضمن الدول المتقدمة في مجال الحقوقي التي طالما تمتع بها عبر السنين.
وكلف السفير ابو سعيد في هذا الصدد الأستاذ أديب أسعد القيام بحلقة الارتباط مع أعضاء اللجنة لمتابعة العمل والتنسيق المتعلق بسير عمل اللقاء.

At the beginning, Ambassador Abu Said congratulated Minister Sarhan on his appointment as Minister of Justice and his qualities and reputation before the ministry. The discussion focused on related topics, in addition to local and international concerns. The participants pointed out that the mechanisms should be activated and activated and the pace of action should be accelerated in order to keep pace with all the required benefits that affect the surrounding countries and to keep Lebanon among the developed countries in the field of jurists that it has enjoyed over the years.
In this regard, Ambassador Abu Said was assigned to Mr. Adeeb Asaad to conduct the link with the members of the committee to follow up the work and coordination related to the work of the meeting.
