 أشار مفوّض اللجنة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان في الشرق الأوسط السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد العدوان الذي وقع أمس على الريف الغربي لدمشق خارقاً في الوقت نفسه القرار الأممي ١٧٠١ من خلال ستعامل الأجواء اللبنانية لتنفيذ غاراتها هو أمرٌ مستنكر وخطير للأمن الإقليمي خصوصاً أنها أتت بعد أيام قليلة على بدء إنسحاب قوات من الجيش الأميركي.

وأوضح السفير أبو سعيد أن "إسرائيل" وبعد إرسالها تهديد بقصف حلفاء سوريا على الأراضي السورية هو تمادٍ للمخطط المرسوم من قبل حلفاء "إسرائيل" الذي فشل وباتت الإعترافات تظهر من مسؤولي في مجلس الشيوخ الأميركي الذين إعتبروا أن الرئيس الأسد نجح في تصديه لإسقاط سورية وهو باقٍ بإرادة شعبية.

وطالب البيان وجوب الضغط على إسرائيل من أجل لجمها من تمت بها في هكذا إنتهاكات سيما وأن معادلة القوة التي تتلطّى وراءها ما عاد قائما، وأكثر ما قد تقوم به هو قتلها للمدنين من أطفال ونساء عُزّل. وختم السفير أبو سعيد إلى وجوب إحالة خروقات الجيش الإسرائيلي إلى لجنة التحقيق الأممية المسؤولة عن تنفيذ قرار الأمم المتحدة رقم ١٧٠١ الذي جاء أساساً على خلفية إعتداءات "إسرائيلية" للبنان لسنة ٢٠٠٦.

Ambassador Abu Said concluded that the violations of the Israeli army should be referred to the UN Commission of Inquiry responsible for the implementation of UN resolution 1701, which came mainly against the backdrop of "Israeli" attacks on Lebanon in 2006.
