The Executive Advisory Committee of the International Human Rights Commission held a meeting with the Commissioner of the Middle East Committee Ambassador Haitham Abu Saeed, the Legal Advisor Dr. Riyad Al-Muqah, the Advisor for Strategic Affairs, Brigadier General Hassan Bishroush, the Executive Council Member Adib Asaad, the Media Office Majida Al Moussawi, Essam Al Khatib..

The meeting discussed local and regional issues and the decisions reached in the region concerning the conflict between America and Iran and the repercussions of the situation on the human and humanitarian situation.

The meeting also touched on some of the human rights issues in Lebanon and the violations that occur, especially the demarcation of the maritime border with Israel and what it is trying to achieve through the visit of Ambassador David Satterfield in the direct negotiations that may benefit Israel at the minimum, Hoping that it would strain the internal political atmosphere in Lebanon.

عقدت الهيئة التنفيذية الاستشارية في اللجنة الدولية لحقوق الانسان اجتماعاً حضرة الى جانب مفوّض اللجنة في الشرق الاوسط السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد كل من المستشار القانوني الدكتور رياض الحركة والمستشار للشؤون الاستراتيجية العميد الركن حسن بشروش وعضو المجلس التنفيذي أديب أسعد والمكتب الاعلامي ماجدة الموسوي وسما الخطيب وعضو الأمانة عصام الخطيب. 

بحث المجتمعون قضايا محلية واقليمية وما وصلت إليه بعض القرارات في المنطقة والتي تتعلق بالصراع القائم بين أميركا وإيران وما قد تؤل إليه الأوضاع ومدى إنعكاساتها على الوضع الإنساني والحقوقي. 

كما تطرق المجتمعون إلى بعض القضايا الحقوقية في لبنان وما يحصل من إنتهاكات خصوصا ترسيم الحدود البحرية مع "إسرائيل" وما تحاول ان تحققه من خلال زيارة السفير دايفيد ساترفيلد في المفاوضات المقترحة بشكل مباشر والذي قد تستفيد منهم اسرائيل في الحد الأدنى، بالإضافة إلى خلق بلبلة سياسية تأمل منه توتير الأجواء السياسية الداخلية في لبنان.
